FACT NPK Tender : Due Date Extended

FACT NPK TENDER

Indian fertilizer importer FACT has recently made changes to the closing date of its reissued FACT NPK tender, shifting the deadline from 29 August to 5 September. The tender aims to procure around 40,000t of 15-15-15 grade NPK fertilizer to support India’s agricultural needs.

As per the updated timeline, the FACT NPK tender will close at 14:00 Indian Standard Time (IST) on 5 September, and the offers will be opened 30 minutes after the deadline. Several important modifications have also been made to the terms of this reissued tender.

In its latest version, FACT is seeking two shipments, each ranging between 18,000-25,000t, including quantity tolerances. The company has specified that the shipments should arrive at their designated discharge ports no later than 10 November. These ports include Kakinada and Tuticorin, both located on India’s east coast, with one cargo expected at each port.

The reissued tender comes after FACT’s initial tender, which closed on 9 August, received no offers. In response, the company has altered its approach by extending the deadline and modifying terms, hoping to attract bidders this time.

This development reflects India’s ongoing demand for NPK fertilizers, with the country relying heavily on imports to meet its agricultural demands. By reissuing the tender and offering more favorable terms, FACT presents an opportunity for global suppliers to participate in one of the world’s largest fertilizer markets. The revised tender not only emphasizes the strategic importance of timely deliveries but also opens a significant window for suppliers to secure their position in India’s expanding fertilizer sector.
