Mangalore Fertilizer Plant Resumption After Catalyst Replacement

Mangalore Fertilizer Plant Resumption

Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (MCF) has officially announced the Mangalore fertilizer plant resumption after a temporary shutdown. The shutdown, initiated in early September 2024, was necessary to replace the reformer catalyst in both the ammonia and urea plants.

In a prior communication dated September 06, 2024, MCF had informed stakeholders of the planned maintenance. The catalyst replacement was crucial to maintaining the plants’ efficiency and performance. With the Mangalore fertilizer plant resumption, production is now back to normal, ensuring the company can continue meeting industry demands.

This successful restart highlights MCF’s dedication to high operational standards. The move ensures MCF remains well-positioned to support agricultural needs and consistently delivers quality products to the fertilizer market.
