KBR has announced that it will provide its advanced ammonia technology for KazAzot’s first world-scale fertilizer complex in Kazakhstan. The plant, located in Aktau, will produce 2,000 metric tons of ammonia per day.

As part of the project, KBR will offer a complete package of solutions. This includes a technology license, proprietary engineering design, equipment, and catalyst solutions. Once operational, the plant will strengthen food security for Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.
