The Meghnagar project expands NPK/DAP and Sulphuric Acid capacity, strengthening Krishana Phoschem’s integrated fertilizer operations.

Krishana Phoschem Meghnagar Project will add significant fertilizer capacity in Madhya Pradesh. Krishana Phoschem Limited (KPL), part of the Ostwal Group of Industries, announced a ₹142 crore expansion that will boost its role in India’s fertilizer industry.

The Krishana Phoschem Meghnagar Project includes a 165,000 MTPA NPK/DAP complex fertilizer unit and a 99,000 MTPA Sulphuric Acid plant. Civil work is underway, and machinery orders are placed. KPL will fund the expansion through a mix of debt and internal accruals, with commissioning planned by March 2026.

“With this project, our NPK/DAP capacity will grow to 495,000 MTPA and Sulphuric Acid to 363,000 MTPA,” said Mr. M.K. Ostwal, Chairman of Krishana Phoschem Limited. “The Meghnagar expansion supports our long-term vision of sustainable and cost-efficient growth.”
