National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has announced the appointment of Shri Vinay Kumar Gupta as its new Executive Director. The decision marks a major milestone in the company’s leadership journey and strengthens its operational focus.
Shri Gupta, a Mechanical Engineer from MNIT Jaipur, brings 35 years of experience in fertilizer plant operations and management. He has served the company in several critical roles, most recently as Chief General Manager of the Vijaipur Unit. His deep knowledge of maintenance and project execution has helped NFL improve productivity and energy efficiency.
Moreover, he successfully led the Energy Saving Project (ESP-II) at Vijaipur, which enhanced plant performance and reduced operational costs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he directed the revamp of the synthesis compressor drive turbine at the same unit. The work was completed through remote monitoring from Mitsubishi, Japan, demonstrating his ability to lead complex projects under challenging conditions.
In addition, Shri Gupta presented a best practice paper on machinery and process improvements, reflecting his strong technical leadership and commitment to innovation. His efforts have consistently aligned with NFL’s mission of modernization and sustainability.
