On January 15, 2026, the Board of Directors of The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) approved the continuation of the Director (Marketing) for a period of six months. The company disclosed the decision under Regulation 30, read with Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Moreover, the continuation takes effect from January 15, 2026. The board decided to maintain the status quo arrangement until an alternative appointment is made or fresh instructions are received from the Government of India.

The decision follows the completion of the tenure granted through a Government of India order dated June 27, 2025. Therefore, the board opted for continuity to avoid leadership gaps at the functional level.

Additionally, the extension is based on communication received from the Department of Fertilizers, which operates under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. This communication supported the continuation arrangement until a final decision is taken at the administrative level.

The status quo arrangement allows FACT to maintain operational stability in its marketing division. It also ensures uninterrupted execution of ongoing marketing strategies, customer engagement activities, and coordination with institutional stakeholders.
