The postal ballot includes the appointment of a new Chairman and the ratification of the cost auditor’s remuneration.
GNFC Postal Ballot on Appointment of Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IAS
The first resolution of the GNFC Postal Ballot seeks approval for appointing Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IAS (DIN: 06530792) as Director and Chairman of GNFC. His nomination came through an order issued by the Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Government of Gujarat on November 1, 2025, and was subsequently approved by the GNFC Board.
Das, a highly experienced 1990-batch IAS officer, currently serves as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat. His professional background includes significant administrative and leadership roles such as District Collector (Surat, Porbandar, Palanpur), Municipal Commissioner (Surat & Vadodara), Principal Secretary (Industries & Mines), and senior positions within GSPC Group. He also holds Board positions across several major Gujarat public-sector companies.
The Board stated that his expertise in governance, industrial development, and public-sector strategy will contribute significantly to GNFC’s long-term strength.
Cost Auditor Approval via GNFC Postal Ballot
The second resolution seeks shareholder approval to ratify the remuneration of ₹1,10,000 plus taxes and expenses for M/s K G Goyal & Associates, appointed as Cost Auditor for FY 2025-26. The change was required after M/s Dhananjay V. Joshi & Associates resigned on November 3, 2025.

Shareholders on record as of November 28, 2025, can vote.
Voting opens: December 3, 2025 (9:00 AM IST)
Voting closes: January 1, 2026 (5:00 PM IST)
Results will be declared on or before January 5, 2026, and posted on the GNFC website and stock exchanges.
