OCP Group has assured India that it is fully prepared to increase fertilizer shipments. The Moroccan company already plays a major role in India Fertiliser Supply:
Supplies 20% of India’s rock phosphate
Provides one-third of India’s phosphoric acid
Delivers a large share of DAP imports
Meets 100% of India’s TSP (Triple Super Phosphate) needs
For 2025, OCP will supply:
1.5 million tonnes of DAP
1 million tonnes of TSP
These agreements secure India’s needs for DAP, TSP, MOP, NPK, SSP, and other essential fertilizers.
Morocco: A Strategic Partner in India Fertiliser Supply
Morocco has emerged as a key security and trade partner for India. More than 40 bilateral agreements are active across defense, agriculture, industry, and commerce.
During her trip, Malhotra also met Omar Hajira, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, to review trade cooperation and explore new opportunities in pharmaceuticals, automobiles, IT, textiles, and agri-processing.
