The state government has clarified that no genuine farmer will be denied urea due to technical or booking-related issues.
Helpline Support for Booking Issues
First, farmers facing problems such as failed booking, slot unavailability, or confirmation errors can contact the toll-free helpline 1800-599-5779, operated by the Agriculture Commissionerate. Through this helpline, farmers can register complaints, seek guidance on urea availability, and get information on nearby authorised sales points.
Direct Support From Agriculture Officials
If app-based booking does not work, farmers can directly approach their Mandal Agriculture Officer (MAO). The officers verify local stock positions and guide farmers on alternate arrangements. In genuine cases, officials also help farmers access urea through authorised channels.
Purchase Through Authorised PACS and Cooperatives
In addition, the government allows limited distribution of urea through Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) and other authorised cooperative outlets. Farmers may need to produce land records, Aadhaar, or crop details to establish eligibility.
District-Level Intervention for Urgent Cases
Meanwhile, district administrations have formed special monitoring teams at the mandal, division, and district levels.
