The fertiliser e-token system has been launched to make fertiliser distribution transparent and efficient. With the fertiliser e-token, farmers can collect fertilisers on time without delays or crowding. The government introduced this digital system to improve monitoring and ensure fair distribution.
The fertiliser e-token works through the e-Vikas digital platform. Farmers generate an e-token using their Aadhaar number and OTP on a mobile phone. This method ensures that fertilisers reach genuine beneficiaries only.
Training on E-Token Implementation
To support smooth implementation, officials organised a training programme in Indore. The session focused on e-token operations, supply chain control, and transparency measures.
The Agriculture Production Commissioner chaired the programme. Joint Directors, Deputy Directors of Agriculture, officials from MARKFED, MP Agro, cooperative banks, marketing committees, and warehouse managers attended the training.
How the E-Token System Works
Officials explained the technical process during the programme. The e-token system tracks fertiliser movement in real time. It helps departments manage stocks better and avoid shortages. The system also reduces misuse and duplication.
CL Kevda, Deputy Director of the Department of Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development, said the e-token system will ensure timely delivery. He added that transparency remains the key objective.
Benefits of E-Token for Farmers
Farmers can generate a e-token at their convenience. They only need a mobile phone and Aadhaar-linked OTP access. The system reduces waiting time at distribution centres. It also improves planning for upcoming sowing seasons.
The e-token initiative marks a strong step toward digital governance in agriculture. It strengthens fertiliser supply management and improves farmer confidence.
