Tampa, FL — November 4, 2025: The Mosaic Company (NYSE: MOS) announced strong Q3 2025 financial results, reporting a net income of $411 million and an adjusted EBITDA of $806 million, reflecting continued operational recovery and growth across its fertilizer businesses.
Despite global market challenges, Mosaic achieved higher earnings and increased production in both potash and phosphate segments. The company also completed strategic asset sales in Brazil, generating immediate cash inflows and reducing future obligations.

Segment Highlights
Potash Segment
Mosaic’s potash business recorded net sales of $695 million, up from $526 million in Q3 2024. Operating earnings rose to $229 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased to $329 million from $180 million a year earlier.
Higher production volumes reduced MOP cash cost of production to $71 per tonne. The company expects 2025 production to reach 9.1–9.4 million tonnes.
Phosphate Segment
The phosphate segment reported net sales of $1.3 billion, an increase from $1.0 billion last year. Operating earnings rose to $102 million from just $8 million in Q3 2024, driven by improved plant reliability and higher prices.
Mosaic expects DAP prices in Q4 2025 to average between $700–$730 per tonne.

Mosaic Fertilizantes (Brazil)
Mosaic’s Brazilian arm reported net sales of $1.6 billion and EBITDA of $241 million, up from $83 million last year. Operating income rose 71% to $96 million.
The company’s Patos de Minas and Taquari mine sales generated $63 million in proceeds, strengthening Mosaic’s balance sheet and optimizing asset allocation in Brazil.
Mosaic Biosciences: Doubling Growth
Sales from Mosaic Biosciences more than doubled in 2025, reaching nearly $70 million. The division launched four new biological products during the year, expanding the company’s sustainable agriculture portfolio.
Market Outlook
Global fertilizer demand remains strong, supported by tight supply and improving crop economics. Mosaic anticipates record Canpotex potash shipments and steady global phosphate demand through 2026.
In Brazil, despite credit challenges, farmers continue to buy fertilizers ahead of the 2026 planting season.
