OCI Global continues to reshape its business with the OCI Ammonia Holding sale to AGROFERT for €290 million. The agreement was announced on 24 November 2025. The companies aim to close the deal in H1 2026 after approvals from regulators and OCI shareholders.
OCI Ammonia Holding includes two important assets. The first is the OCI Terminal Europoort in Rotterdam. It is a major import and storage terminal for ammonia. The second is OCI Ammonia Distribution, which delivers ammonia to customers across Europe. This sale strengthens AGROFERT’s position in fertilizer logistics.
OCI will continue using the Rotterdam terminal. A throughput agreement guarantees supply flexibility for the Geleen nitrogen facility in the Netherlands. OCI said it will decide the future of the Geleen plant soon and will share updates when available.
